General: 
Regular checks are carried out by the Egyptian authorities. It is essential to take your identity card with a valid visa or passport with you. A copy must be sent in advance via WhatsApp or by e-mail. There may be longer waiting times. Escort by the police is possible.

Payment:
A deposit is to be transferred when making a binding reservation.  
The balance will be paid in cash in euros at the start of the journey.

Withdrawal or cancellation: 
For partial or complete cancellation from 4 weeks before the date of the excursion, 50% per excursion will be charged and the deposit will be retained.

Tour cancellations by Jemo Tours:
Jemo Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour in case of insufficient number of participants or other circumstances (e.g. force majeure, etc.). Jemo Tours conducts the tour according to the program as far as possible, but reserves the right to change the program, services, etc. if this seems necessary due to objective circumstances. 

If Jemo Tours cancels the tour or does not offer a replacement program, the participant is entitled to a full refund of the tour cost. Further claims are excluded.

Disclaimer:
Jemo Tours is only an intermediary, not the executing organization and is indemnified from all liabilities, in particular property damage and personal injury. The participant is not insured by Jemo Tours and participates in the excursions at his own risk. 
Participants should take out international health insurance with repatriation before starting their trip and carry the data with them. 

 

Jemo Tours is liable in cases of intent or gross negligence in accordance with the provisions of the law. Liability for slight negligence is excluded. Liability for vicarious agents is also excluded. No liability on the part of Jemo Tours will be assumed if the non-fulfilment or improper fulfilment of the offer is due to:
a) Negligence of the participant
b) unforeseeable or unavoidable omissions on the part of third parties
performance of the contractually agreed service are not involved
c) force majeure or an event that Jemo Tours could not foresee or avert.
d) Jemo Tours accepts no liability for loss of personal belongings. 

 

Health status during boat tours:
The participant undertakes to fill in the forms provided to him truthfully and to inform Jemo Tours at any time and immediately of any changes in the state of health that may affect his or her ability to dive. The prerequisite for participation is good swimming skills. Jemo Tours reserves the right to exclude participants in case of concerns.

 

Overnight stay:
For a 2-day tour, Jemo Tours will bindingly book a hotel room, including breakfast. They are always double rooms. For single occupancy, a surcharge of 30 € must be paid.

Ride:
The trip is organized up to 4 people with a private car, from 5 people with a minibus. Guests are generally picked up from the public road in front of the hotel, as many hotels prohibit pick-up by external providers. A transfer outside of Hurghada will be charged at a flat rate of €10 p.p.

Photo and film material:
By agreeing to these T&Cs, the participant grants Jemo Tours the right to use all film, photo and audio recordings produced either by Jemo Tours or by participants during the tour for its own purposes without further consultation.

 

Miscellaneous Agreements:
If parts of the contract are invalid, this clause shall be replaced by the correspondingly valid one, all other clauses of the contract shall remain unaffected. Participants are obliged to notify immediately of any change in accommodation.
